Little Family
Films is headed by Doug Saputo and Robin Blotnick, professional
New York City filmmakers who have written, directed, edited, and
produced numerous documentaries, fictional shorts, and television
shows.
Doug Saputo has a wide range of experience in all areas of filmmaking,
from pre to post-production: He is a member of Screen Actor's
Guild and AFTRA and has worked as an actor on television and in
the theater in addition to producing and directing numerous promotional
videos and PSAs. Hes currently writing and directing his
third short film. Doug also fronts a popular NYC-based blues and
funk band called 6V6.
Robin Blotnick has worked as a screenplay reviewer for Walden
Media and as an editor on scores of independent films, commercial
projects and music videos. His directorial debut "Chocolate
Country" recently won the Grand Jury Prize for short documentary
at the Seattle International Film Festival. Hes currently
working on a new feature about myth, magic and pop culture in
modern Guatemala.
The rest of the Little Family Films team includes animators, musicians,
and students from the citys best film schools, including
NYU, Columbia, and the School Of Visual Arts.
